Rule Descriptions
Datacenter
This rule identifies visitors coming from datacenters. Visitors from datacenters are generally not legitimate users, so we recommend enabling the datacenter deny rule by default.
China
This rule identifies visitors from mainland China or those using Simplified or Traditional Chinese. If your target market is outside mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan, we recommend enabling the China deny rule by default to prevent malicious visitors.
Review
Identifies review requests from Facebook. If you need to handle traffic from reviews differently in certain scenarios, we recommend enabling the review rule.
Country
Identifies visitors from specific countries. When you select multiple countries, a match with any one of them counts as hitting the rule. When your link is targeted at a specific country, we recommend enabling the allow rule for the country rule.
Language
The language determination is based on the language set on the user's device, which may not fully reflect the user's actual language proficiency.
Identifies visitors using a specific language by detecting whether the user has a particular language set on their device. When your link requires visitors to speak a specific language, we recommend enabling the allow rule for the language rule.
App
Ad source detection for apps is currently in testing — use with caution.
Identifies the user's request application and source, including ads and apps. Currently only supports access from mobile applications.
Proxy
Proxy detection may add up to 3 seconds to the detection time.
This technology is an independently developed proprietary detection technique by Xdun Protect. It can identify visitors using proxy software with a high recognition rate and low false-positive rate, helping to prevent competitors and malicious visitors from accessing your links. However, it may add up to 3 seconds to the detection time.
