Xdun Protect project feature guide to help you organize links and manage member permissions.

Project (Project Group) is the core feature in Xdun Protect for organizing links and members. Through projects, you can:
- Group cloaking links from different business lines or promotion channels for centralized viewing and statistics;
- Add collaborating members to a project and assign them
vieworeditpermissions; - Manage link quotas by project according to team size, avoiding interference between different projects.
Default Project Auto-Created
When you register and log in to Xdun Protect for the first time, we will automatically create a default project for you so you can start creating links right away.
Create a Project
- Go to the Dashboard and click Projects in the left navigation.
- Click the Create Project button in the upper right.
- Fill in the name and an optional description, then confirm to complete creation.
Free User Project Limit
Free users can have at most 1 project. If you need multiple projects, please upgrade to a paid plan.
Delete a Project
Only the project creator can delete a project, and the following conditions must be met:
- The project has no links (please delete or migrate all links first);
- You retain at least 1 project (you cannot delete the last remaining project).
Member Management
In the Settings tab on the project detail page, the creator can:

Only the project creator can perform member-related operations. Other members cannot add/remove members or change permissions.

Links and Projects
- When creating a cloaking link, you must select a project for it.
- After a link is created, its project cannot be changed — please choose carefully at creation time.
Free vs. Paid

When a free user creates more than 1 link in a project, an over-quota notice will appear on the dashboard. You can still view data but cannot add more links.
FAQ
- What if the invited member does not have an account?
The invited member needs to register an account on Xdun Protect first, after which they can join the project. - Can a project be transferred to another member?
Transfer of project ownership is not currently supported. Please contact our technical support if needed.
